About 1776 Charters

Built on independence.

Out of Venice, Louisiana — the fishing capital of the world — running the first offshore fishing and machine gun experience in the country.

01 The Story

Built on independence, grit, and a deep respect for the water — and zero interest in running a basic tourist trip.

Out of Venice, Louisiana, the fishing capital of the world, we run the first offshore fishing and machine gun experience in the country: real, full-auto machine guns, mounted to the deck and fired miles out in the open Gulf. MP5s, KRISS Vectors, the M4, belt-fed M240s and PKMs — weapons most people only see in movies, live in your hands.

And that’s only half the day. These are the waters where the Mississippi collides with the Gulf: yellowfin tuna that will bend you over the gunwale, freight-train wahoo, swordfish drops into the deep, snapper when the season’s right. ATF-approved, crew-supervised, run by a USCG-licensed captain, and unlike anything else in America.

02 The Boat

A 40-foot Invincible.

The 1776 FT DEEP is a 40-foot Invincible catamaran running quad Mercury 400s — fast enough to find the fish, stable enough to be a rock-solid gun platform. Up to six guests per trip under a six-pack charter — perfect for bachelor parties, birthdays, veteran groups, and corporate trips.

03 Aboard

Every inch of her, bow to transom.

The 1776 FT DEEP was picked for two jobs that don’t normally go together — running 40 miles out to find tuna, then sitting rock-steady while a belt-fed goes hot off the bow. This is what you step onto.

04 The Operation

Locked, Loaded, and Landing Legends.

The tagline is the promise. Here's what stands behind it.

01

Federally licensed

An ATF-approved operation running under a federal 07/02 FFL/SOT — the license class that makes legal, full-auto fun on the water possible.

02

Coast Guard captain

A USCG-licensed captain who knows these waters and this fishery, plus dedicated firearms liability coverage on every trip.

03

Crew-supervised

Every gun is mounted and crew-run. The crew walks you through each one before it goes hot — and live fire is always the captain’s call on conditions.

The boat only takes six — and dates go fast.
